Mr. N. P. BASRUR
Mr. N. P. Basrur has a BTech (Ele. Engg.) and an MTech (Comp. Sci.) degree from Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Between 1975 and 1999 he was with Tata Consultancy Services, Mumbai. In TCS having joined as a trainee, over the years, he worked in various roles such as Project Leader, Project manager, Products and Services Marketing Manager and as a Group Leader for Quality Assurance, Business Development, Software Engineering Support and Sector Co-ordination.
Mr. Basrur over the next decade, as Vice President – Software Services, in companies such as Nihilent and Zensar Technologies, has been responsible for software development, maintenance and service delivery activities from offshore service centers for various overseas clients. During this period he was also involved in management of Offshore Development Centers for large MNC’s dealing in areas such as Telecom, Networking Equipment, Computers, Shipping and Banking.
With an overall experience of over 35+ years, he currently works as a Consulting Advisor in IT Projects, Program, Operations and General Management.
